David shares his amazing story starting when he was first diagnosed with stage four head and neck cancer over ten years ago to what he went through both physically and mentally while undergoing intense rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and various surgeries. Thinking that “this was it,” David created the Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit that raises funds to provide financial assistance, wellness services and HOPE to New Jersey families affected by a cancer diagnosis. For David, this would be his legacy after he was no longer with us. Today, David is ten years removed from his diagnosis and remains cancer-free! Listen closely as David discusses the importance of serving as a “beacon of hope” for patients and families as the foundation has now helped over 1,700 families and raised over 1.1 million dollars.
